Which kingdom should I start in?
The newest kingdom that is still filling up, isn't on the not-recommended list for your language, and isn't locked to another region. This page names it for each game at the top.
What does "not recommended" actually mean?
It's the game's own signal that a kingdom has moved too far along for a brand-new player: alliances are locked in, the top players are many times your power, and the early events have passed. It is not a ban, and it says nothing about server health.
Can I join a region-locked kingdom from outside that region?
Normally no — the kingdom just isn't offered to you when you create a character. We don't suggest trying to work around it, and we can't tell you whether that would work.
How often does a new kingdom open?
In our measurements a new kingdom appears every one to three days, so today's answer can change tomorrow. The timestamp at the top of this page tells you how fresh it is.
I'm already in a mature kingdom. Should I restart?
Usually not — restarting throws away everything you've built. An older server mostly means tougher competition for the top ranks, not a broken account, and kingdom transfer exists once you meet the requirements.
